Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then, she joined WCBD as a morning anchor and crime reporter. While in Charleston O'Dell's stories about the relaxed approach police take towards DUI cases led to a State Law Enforcement Division investigation that led to states authorities again releasing the strictest guidelines regarding these situations. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. Following her stint living in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative journalist. After that, she joined Access Hollywood to work as a weekday and weekend correspondent. In addition, she serves as co-anchor for Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's covered events such like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys and The Golden Globe Awards as and co-hosted a variety of shows that were pre-showarrivals in preparation for The Emmys and the Golden Globes. Other co-hosting credits include the Miss USA pageant, and Miss Universe.
